We understand. It's a big step. We know what you are going through - do we pay for the cake or for a planner, are they gonna nickel and dime me, will it hurt my mothers feelings? We know what's on your mind and we will help you figure it all out. We'll even tell you when you don't need our help. That's just the way we are! All you have to do is ask the questions. And, I promise, it never hurts to ask.

We will go to your hotel room with our fabric steamer and E-kit just in case their are any wardrobe malfunctions!
We found an historic manor that the entire family took over! Being right on the beach with a pool table - yeah, it was fun.
Cathy called us in two weeks before her wedding to wrap up her final vendors. We did it - no sweat!

This is a familiar saying, one that my father used to say to me quite often. Well, I absolutely love what I do, but, I work my tail off making your day exactly how you've envisioned it. My reward: when you tell me how awesome your wedding was and that you will miss me. Quite honestly, I will miss you too.
We will have become friends during our year or two together. We will cry together when you are fighting with your mom over colors. We will laugh together when we look at the pictures from your bachelorette party. We will stand quietly and take that deep breath together, right before you walk down the aisle. I will tell you how beautiful you look, and mean it, because you will have become my friend. I will tear up when you arrive to stand with your groom. And then I will fade out to allow you to finally enjoy all that you have waited for.
Because we will have become friends, I'll make sure your reception is breathtaking - whatever your style - and make sure it's all about you. I will greet your family and friends and watch their expressions, completely impressed by the love they show you. When you look around the room, I want you to love what you see. I want you to kiss your new husband, excited about the night to come. I want you to glow for your photos and I want you to be at peace with your decision to hire me.
Because we will have become friends, it makes it an honor to work for you and know you as a Rare Affair Bride. For that reason alone, I will miss you. Because it is you, that makes me awesome.

There's always a hitch...Why book us when you have a coordinator on site?
Here's why...
We love that venues have decided to bump up their services provided to couples. It brings value to the location and convenience too! What we don't like are the limitations - not to mention - a false sense of security. Here are a few questions to ask the Venue Wedding Coordinator:

Q. Will you only present your preferred vendors - even if they are not my taste or within my budget? A. Well, these vendors are really great, I am sure you'll love them! We love their commissions - shhhh.
Q. Will you research & locate the services I cannot find on my own? A. Like flowers, yes, here is our preferred list.
Q. Will you deliver my "Welcome Bags" to the hotel? A. Sure, for a fee and only if they are staying on site.
Q. Will you direct our ceremony rehearsal? A. Not when it is off site.
Q. Will you coordinate shuttle services? A. Sorry, we don't provide shuttles.
Q. Will you arrive at the church for decor placement? A. We don't have the staff...
Q. Will you be there with a lint brush and breath mints? A. No, but we will put out your place cards...
Q. Will you pin on buttonierres? A. Where? At the ceremony location? Not if it's off site.
Q. Will you run emergency errands? A. Well, we do have a gift shop.
Q. Will you navigate my difficult bustle or make quick repairs? A. ummm, sure.
Q. Will you really be there for me when I call with wedding issues and tough decisions? A. Our office hours are between 10 am - 5 pm - please leave a message.
